Men Do Better

This is a PSA. Men, DO FUCKING BETTER.

As a new father, husband for several years etc… I was pretty shocked at what I saw in the hospital. The hospital I went to was in a pretty backwards city, where the men just seemed to get away with the absolute BARE MINIMUM.

Let me give you some examples:

• When the midwife/nurse came over to have a chat with me and my wife about going home, she quipped that I’m gonna have to pitch in to do the cleaning. My wife immediately “well actually’d” her and said “He’s already cleaned the house, done the laundry, and done the grocery shopping.” The nurse, and some other woman who just gave birth, was gobsmacked that this was a thing… the woman who gave birth then quipped “can you have a word with my partner”
• Some dickhead came in with his partner. She had just given birth, and the guy phoned 5 people, and then fucked off to go do something else. When my baby was born, I stayed there most of the morning to ensure she and wife were ok. In laws came, so I went home to clean up in prep for baby coming home.
• I’ve known dads who have NEVER changed a nappy, or tried to calm down a crying baby - they always get passed onto the mum.

This isn’t a full list. As I stated, the city where my wife gave birth: most of the men get away with fucking murder. I’ll hands down admit that there are so MANY beautiful Irish girls. Like borderline model looking figures/faces, and yet the boys (let’s face it, they’re definitely not men) don’t even have to look good, or be nice to the girls. They get their pick

I’ll admit, this does sound very incel of me. It’s just baffled me for so long how Irish guys can get away with murder compared to the girls. This is something I want to teach my daughter - that she is worth a lot more than some dickhead who thinks he can get away with playing the playstation all day, going to work, and dares has the cheek to not look after the baby because he was “out to work all day”.

THAT’S FUCKING PATHETIC…

Men - do a hell of a lot better. Not only is it an alpha thing to actually work in cooperation with women, it’s about fucking respect. I respect my wife way too much to burden her with household chores as well as 24/7 day care. I do whatever I can to help her out so she feels loved… And you should too.
